**Hi OpenTPS Team,**

I am currently trying to install and set up the `opentps_flash` extension on Ubuntu with OpenTPS release 3.0+. However, I encountered a few compatibility and installation issues during the process, mainly related to module path mismatches (e.g., `ModuleNotFoundError` for `opentps.core.processing.doseCalculation.MCsquare` due to recent refactoring in OpenTPS core).

While I managed to resolve some path issues manually, I realized the current README for `opentps_flash` might be slightly outdated relative to the latest OpenTPS releases.

Could you please consider providing a more detailed or updated step-by-step tutorial on how to properly integrate `opentps_flash` with the latest version of OpenTPS? Any guidance on resolving dependencies or configuring `PYTHONPATH` for modern environments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your great work and support!

Best regards,

xdwang

Hello xdwang,

Unfortunately, the `opentps_flash` extension is no longer maintained, and it was not developed by the OpenTPS team. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot provide support or guidance on adapting it to recent OpenTPS versions.

The extension may work with OpenTPS 1.0, which is the closest version compared to the one used originally for the flash module. You can find [OpenTPS 1.0](https://gitlab.com/openmcsquare/opentps/-/tree/v1.0?ref_type=tags) among the releases on the OpenTPS GitLab.

We’re sorry we cannot provide a more up-to-date solution, but we hope this helps you get it running.

Best regards,

Romain Schyns
